NBOPE Journeyperson and Master Plumber certificates must be renewed every three (3) years and expire on the date printed on the identification card. There is absolutely no grace period. Recertification can be done online or through recognized training seminars that provide continuing education credits (CEUs). Online recertification requires passage of a forty (40) question, non-proctored, multiple choice open book exam. Successful applicants shall score a minimum of seventy-five percent (75%) or thirty (30) accumulative points on the exam. Any certification that expires after January 1, 2019 shall be recertified to the 2018 UPC.
